Course Description
This Maurin Academy offering will be a one-session meditation on the Christian liturgical season of Advent and on the phenomenology of waiting. What is Advent? How is it more than just a time to prepare for Christmas? What are the unique things that we are waiting for in Advent? What is this season challenging us to learn? What is there to be hopeful about? For that matter, what is waiting, and how does attentive waiting – for anything – change us? Take an hour or two off from the holiday stress and join us for some answers – answers that will raise even more questions.
