Note: We’ve moved this event to Tuesday, October 21.
Join Stephen Paff and Laurie Johnson October 21, starting at 7 p.m. US Central Time, as they discuss the implications the recent AI technology will have on people and society. The session will be live on Zoom. You can get in on this conversation by becoming a patron of the Maurin Academy at the Salt of the Earth level or above.
Stephen is an anthropologist and data scientist who has spent years crafting AI and machine learning systems that connect with people and society. Laurie Johnson is President of the Maurin Academy and a Professor of Political Philosophy with a strong interest in the moral and political implications of AI. Their conversation will last about an hour. We’ll explore Stephen’s experience in the tech space; then we’ll open the conversation to attendees.
